Working together

How do I know a local SEO expert is worth hiring?

Ask to see account screenshots with dates and numbers, and ask what they changed to get them. Look for plain monthly reports and no ranking guarantees. My results are on the home page.

What access do you need to my accounts?

Usually manager access to your Google Business Profile, Search Console and Google Analytics, plus Google Ads access if we run ads. You keep ownership, and you can remove my access at any time.

Local SEO

What is the Google map pack?

The map pack is the block of three business listings with a map that Google shows for local searches such as “dentist near me”. It sits above the regular website results.

What are the Google local ranking factors?

Google names three: relevance, distance and prominence. Relevance is how well your profile matches the search, distance is how far you are from the searcher, and prominence is how well known your business is.

What is NAP consistency?

NAP means name, address and phone number. These details should match on your website, your Google profile and your directory listings, because mixed details make the listing harder to trust.

Can I rank in a city where I have no office?

It is harder, not impossible. Google weighs distance, so a profile in that city usually ranks best. Location pages with real local content and a strong profile can still bring calls from nearby areas.
