How does the work differ between industries?
| Industry | How people search | What decides the call | Where I focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home services | A trade and a place, or “near me”, often when something has gone wrong | Being in the map pack, reviews, and a phone that gets answered | Profile, reviews, service area pages, call tracking |
| Healthcare | A treatment or a specialty, and “near me”, with more comparing | Reviews, clear treatment pages, a complete profile | Profile, treatment pages, careful ad text, tracking |
| E-commerce | Products, categories and problems the product solves | Product data, page quality, how ads are structured | Category pages, product feed, Shopping and Performance Max |
How do I choose where to focus first?
I start from where your next customer comes from. For a plumber it is usually the map pack and emergency ads. For a dental practice it is the profile and the treatment pages. For a store it is the product feed and the category pages.
The audit shows which of those is weakest, and that is where the first month goes.
